Question:  Why do I need "GrannyConnect", why not do this on my own?

    Simple answer, you won't - time, diligence, any number of reasons - our experience is that
    people with the best of intentions simply can't duplicate this on an individual basis.  
    GrannyConnect's gramit injects the consistency and discipline in the process to ensure that
    month in month out the grandchild's messages are requested, received, stored and forwarded
    to you.  Did you ever keep a diary as a child, how long did you make entries and do you
    know where they are now - if you are like the vast majority of the population you did so for
    short periods of time and don't know where they are today yet would love to have the
    opportunity to read the entries at your leisure. In addition, with our unlimited disk space and
    backup systems, we ensure that this valuable trail of communication is kept forever and is
    retrievable on demand.

Question:  Why the connection to the Grandparents?

    A grandchild/grandparent relationship is often the most important relationship in a child's life
    next to the one they have with their parents.  Like most parents, we're sure you understand
    that and want to encourage it - we help take some of that responsibility off the parents
    shoulders by facilitating one important aspect of that grandchild/grandparent relationship.  Of
    course if there is another more appropriate focus (e.g. Aunt or Uncle) GrannyConnect would
    be happy to facilitate in those instances as well.  Why not just do a diary - it is proven that a
    correspondence commitment with an individual who will be expecting to hear from the child is
    far more likely to be maintained than individual diary commitments.

Question:  I'm a parent, do I get access to my child's gramit's?

    On request we will provide you with a history of the gramit's your child has sent to their
    Grandparents through this service.
