| A wife and husband team based out of Canada, our objective is to facilitate the collection of family history while establishing a strong grandchild/grandparent relationship. We recognize that contact is being made through the traditional sporadic email, phone call, visit and that new avenues have opened up such as Twitter, LindkedIn, FaceBook etc. but what is missing is in depth correspondence of substance that facilitates a 'relationship' and contributes to a written legacy. "Tweets" and "Instant Messaging" have their place but they lack depth and consistency, and years from now will either be lost or their original context unknown making them meaningless. We chose to formalize correspondence between grandchildren and grandparents using gramits because of the benefits of a communication string based on a consistent context that has depth, meaning and supports a real relationship.
